La Dame en Bijoux Noirs

Haute Couture line La Dame en Bijoux Noirs translates into "the lady in black jewelry". This creation literally showers the lady with wearable jewelry. The black beaded jacket was made over a period of two months. It is inspired by the mood and luxurious world of the 1920s as so aptly described by Agatha Christie in her many mystery books.

Every Austrian glass bead was sewn on separately. The black silk chiffon was finished by hand. Every individual stitch is controlled to create a flowing design that wraps nicely around the lady's body.

The hand-made Trapeze Bra is made out of elastic lycra and custom designed, custom manufactured stainless steel structures put together by indigenous Finnish Archipelagos fishing hooks. The Trapeze Bra is extremely comfortable to wear and enhances and lifts everyones natural bust regardless of size. Ladies love the comfortable push-up effect..

The Butterfly Mini dress was inspired on a warm summer evening when a butterfly came to the window pane. It had landed in the shady part. It looked fragile and totally black in the evening light.

The Black Butterfly Mini Dress is made of organza and silk tulle. It is extremely light. Karlsson Concept loves to create light and breezy, elegant fashion since it enhances the fragile beauty of women.

The material weighs practically nothing. Kalervo Karlsson explains: "The razor sharp precision of the cut reflects the beauty of Mozart's symphonies and that is what we are aiming for as artists. It is as though one would wear nothing - only better.

Our Parisian stylist the venerable Christelle Nouviaire-Domec, currently the chief stylist in Paris for the Italan Vogue, truly captured the essence of our creation in this photoshoot.

Christelle started her career 20 years ago with Claude Montana at Lanvin and has become super well-known in the Parisian fashion circles during her exciting career. For this photoshoot Christelle chose the model, photographers and supervised everything. Aside of being one of the top fashion icons, Christelle is also the one of the nicest ladies. We are extremely lucky to work with her. We love how she succeded in enhancing our works.
